The Adventure Ed Washington Coast Trip

This last week I spent hiking along sandy beaches, rocky points, and through trails. It was the Adventure Ed Washington Coast Trip. It was awesome! First of all we had nearly perfect weather. Second of all we had great campsites! And third of all (this one is bad) we had to hike in sand and gravel! The first campsite that we stayed at was called Cape Alava, here we walked out to Cannonball Island where we say round boulders that were the leading edge of a glacier years ago. The next campsite that we stayed at was called Yellow Banks, when we were here we all lay on the beach and sunbathed. We also went into the water and played in the HUGE waves. The third campsite that we stayed at was called Cedar Creek, this is because all of the cedar seeps into the river making it a redish color. When we were here we not only sunbathed but when the tide went out we walked / swam out to this small rock island that was covered in muscles, we collected some muscles and took them beck to the campsite where we cooked them over the fire. The fourth and last campsite that we stayed at was called Chilean Memorial, While we were here we ate all the rest of out food and we just talked about the trip. The next day we got up and hiked back to the parking lot where we caught the bus and went home. All in all the trip was really cool with very minimal difficulties.

Did you speak loudly enough so that everyone could hear you?
Did you change your tone to show how you felt (upset, excited) about an idea or to emphasize a point?
Was your speed of delivery too fast, too slow or just right?

Peoplemation

This is a peoplemation, called "Her Morning Elegance." It takes place on a bed and they are moving the sheets, pillows, and clothes between each photo to create the affect that she is moving around while still on her bed. It is supposed to look like she is having a dream, so she has eyes closed through the entire movie. This is actually a music video by Owen Lavie but the song is nothing to be proud of. Although they did a great job on the peoplemation video. After doing claymations in school I thought this was very cool and I realize just how much work it took to make this three and a half minute video. It is very cool when she falls into the water in her dream because they change the color of the sheets as she falls to make it look like she actually fell into the water. When you are watching you forget about the rest of the room and you watch the bed like a movie screen. Then at the end she wakes up and they just video it not peoplemation it. It is worth watching! Intimate Conversation Poem

Dear Grandma,

Remember when we used to go to the carnival,
We would walk around,
until we were hungry,
and then we would eat,
until we felt stuffed,
like the prizes we had won,

When we were full,
we would find the mirror room,
and you would laugh,
as I ran around into mirrors,
like a chicken with its head cut off.

But now you are too old,
and I have out grown that,
so all we have left is these memories.

This is Just to Say Poem

Dear Lovely Beloved Sister,

This is just to say that
I'm sorry that I ate the huge cookie on the table
It looked so delicious
I realize that you were probably saving it for the fair

I will tell you that it would have won first place
It was as good as hot chocolate on a rainy day
Oh and you added just the right amount of nuts
It was the best cookie I have ever had

It was so,
so,
so,
so,
so,
Scrumptious
Maybe you should make another one...
for the fair of course ;-)

Riddle Poem

I am something yet nothing,
You need me too live,
No one can touch me,
But everyone feels me,
I am invited in, but always expelled,
What am I?

What If Poem

My Hair is Cotton Candy

What If.......
My hair were Cotton Candy
When ever I cut my hair I could sell it at the Carnival
Mine would be Green, 'cause that is the best color
I would be the Coolest person ever
But there would be one problem...
I could never take a shower or my hair would disappear!

Monster Description

My Sci-Fi monster is maned Mickey Mad, in the following paragraph I will describe, in the most detail that I can, what he looks like. Well to start Mickey Mad is a Floating head he is Mickey Mouses evil brother. He is forever floating in a ball of fire. While his brother mickey mouse is living happily in Disneyland, Mad lives in the fiery down under. He has the same ears and face as his brother mickey
mouse, but the devil lurks within him. His black round ears crown his head. He has a dramatic widows peek creeping down his forehead. His side burns are stretched triangles that jut just below his eyes. His eyebrows are permanently angled down in his fury. His eyes are like a fire, burning into you. His black nose shines with the fire from his eyes. His vicious mouth is like that of the devil. His nearly perfect teeth shine white like the full moon. His horrible smile will scar you for life. His smile never leaves his face forever leaving you terrified. His lack of body is the most terrible part, he casually glides toward you like a ghost. I have just explained what the vicious and terrifying Sci-Fi monster, Mickey Mad, looks like. Here are the pictures, Ben's version(right) my version(left).

Winter Break

This winter break I went shooting with my dad and a few of our friends. We went to one of the Gabiline's property where there is a sand bank that curves like 180 degrees around you and you can shoot at targets up on the bank. We brought about 50 two gallon bottles of water and shot them with all sorts of guns. I have a 17 hmr rifle that is very fast and very accurate.(above is my gun) I was able to pop like five of the bottles from about 150 yards. I brought a twelve pak of root beer and shook them up then shot them. It awesome what would happen to them, the would flatten out! I even got to shoot an AK-47! We shot clay pigeons with shotguns and I even shot a can of root beer with it. I decided that I want a shotgun now and am currently looking at a Weatherby pump action. On new years I went to a dance and stayed up untill like 3:00AM. Oh ya, for Christmas I got Guitar Hero for Xbox 360. I played that with my brother like all of Christmas afternoon and we beet the game after two days on easy. It is a really cool game! For christmas I also got $100 and $60 dollars in gift cards. We had a very good Christmas this year even with the econimy where it is. I wish Christmas was longer, and winter break!
